1533 SHOVEL SEAT DINING CHAIR
Mid century modern designed by Paul McCobb for Winchendon Furniture Company, the Planner Group number 1533 shovel seat and spindle back dining chair offered is in its original unrestored vintage condition. The chair is in the original black finish and retains three of its four rubber feet pads. The chair seat is attached to a black wrought iron frame. Two metal tabs on the underside near the front edge of the chair are loose from their original welding and the two tabs on the underside at back edge are secure and intact. The chair measures 18 1/2" wide by 21 1'2" deep with a height of 34" and a seat height of 18".
